New Scam involving a sign company
We received notice from the Astoria-Warrenton Chamber about a possible scam artist who approached a business owner in Astoria and wanted to sell her a lighted pictorial-style sign. He did not have any identification except for the logo on T-shirt for a business with a name like ‘Sign-Ops’. He wanted an immediate decision & payment upfront and claimed the business was located in Portland.
If you are contacted by such a person, please notify the local police.
