Beach Safety: An Important Story
We had a fellow climbing the rocks with his 2 young sons last August. Dad fell 80 feet to the sand below and ended up with 53 assorted fractured bones and ribs, some organ damage and a concussion. The boys were still stranded 80 feet in the air. The team rescued both boy’s “uninjured” and helped take dad to the hospital. Eight months later he is out of the hospital and comes down to do a meet and greet with his wife and 8 kids. After we get through the emotional stuff he said. While I was recovering I had some time on my hands and went to the web site. After cruising around I found some stuff on Beach Safety. That information described what could happen to me if I climbed on the rocks. That is exactly what did happen to me. “I wish I would have read it before”.
